KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Football fans will soon see a different side of Travis Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end will star in his own reality dating series titled "Catching Kelce" to run later this year on E! Entertainment Television Network.   Cheap nfl jerseys

Kelce, who made the Pro Bowl for the first time last season after catching 72 passes and scoring five touchdowns, promised the publicity he gets from the venture won't affect his football career.

"People are going to look at me differently," Kelce said. "You never get to see the intimate side of a football player. At the end of the day I still make a living playing football.

"I'm 100 percent focused on football. I'm ready to rock and roll."

Filming of the eight scheduled "Catching Kelceā€ episodes concluded before the Chiefs started their offseason conditioning program in April. The network has not announced when the show will run and Kelce said even he hasn't been told.http://www.kansascitychiefsjerseyspop.com

Kelce's part in the show was to pick a woman to date from 50 contestants. Now that he's done that, he indicated mixed feelings about having done the show.

"I'm kind of in between about it," he said. "It was good for myself and it will be entertaining. That's for sure. It was a good time.

"I think it will be a pretty funny show. But I'm more excited for the actual football season than anything else."

The Chiefs made a sizable financial commitment to Kelce in January, signing him to a five-year, $46 million contract extension a year before the deal he signed as a third-round draft pick in 2013 was set to expire. The contract increases the pressure on Kelce to produce even bigger numbers this year.

"The contract puts a lot more on my plate in terms of being a leader and being around the office and knowing that I've re-signed to where I'm going to be around for awhile," Kelce said. "It's definitely put a little bit more accountability but just more of an understanding from me that I still have to go out there and play to make what I'm worth, I guess.  Wholesale nfl jerseys

"You maintain what you've been doing. I've shown I've been able to be the guy just what I've put forth already. It's just building on that. I'm always going to be a guy that's in the facility, around the city. That's never a question. It's just whether or not I can help guys develop and help this team grow."
